The Company’s mission is to ensure our communities of young, old, and the vulnerable have an improved quality of life.

In 2003 Skinners’ Company co-funded Stephen, providing him with the opportunity to undertake his Masters in Public Policy, at the London School of Economics. Since then, one of Stephen’s organisations – The Social Innovation Partnership – TSIP – co-developed a set of mentoring programmes with Skinners’, Clothworkers’, Goldsmiths’ and Haberdashers’. Stephen also spent two years’ on the board of the Thomas Wall Trust.

Stephen Bediako commented: “I’m honoured to have been redeemed by the Worshipful Company of Skinners’. It’s an organisation that means a great deal to me, given their support for my work, over the years. The Skinners’ mission is one that I align myself wholly to and one that I’m committed to furthering, in this role. It’s important that we offer those communities, that have so much potential, with the chance to realise it and I look forward to doing this, in this role”.
